Who else wants to have their videos hosted for free and be able to make them private (when needed)?

I learned this ninja ‘hack’ that allows you to make your Viddler videos private, but also embed them on whatever site you want…so that only certain eyes can view it (this is an internet network marketing insider tip!).

This is incredibly useful for internet network marketing. It is awesome for videos that you only want people who have opted-in to your list to see. Or even for your websites that contain information that people purchased from you!

In this video I will show you:

-Why this little trick will make a big difference in internet network marketing

-How to make your video private

-The exact numbers need to  ‘hack’ embed code!

Happy Hacking!=)

Have you ever had something hit you so hard that you just know you have to share it…and even if you try to put it off, you can’t really get anything else done until you do?…

Two days ago, I was reading my personal development book for the week. This week, I chose Tiger Traits by Nate Booth.

Since then I cannot, and I mean cannot, stop thinking about an idea that was mentioned in the second chapter.

Want to know what it is?…

What is the LIFE of your dreams?

Ok, I know you’ve heard that a million-billion times.

But really, what is the LIFE of your dreams? And could this question be the answer to why your dreams aren’t coming true?

What really jumped out at me is the difference between dreams and a LIFE of dreams.

Let me explain.

Most of us focus on the activities we want to have happen and the material possessions we want.

So we work and work and work toward those activities or possessions and eventually we accomplish them…right? But, in the process we forget that we need to live the LIFE of our dreams every day….not just in a few sporadic moments that once they pass we say “Is that really all?”

There really is a big difference between the idea of dreams, and the LIFE of our dreams.

When your upline or mentors taught you about writing down dreams, what kinds of things did you write down? Perhaps you are already in the realm of this “life of dreams” concept, but most of the things on my list were like this:

Dreams:

  • Travel
  • Be top producer in my network marketing business
  • Go skydiving
  • Have time and money to do whatever I want whenever I want

But, what I discovered from this simple idea was that my list of dreams were not “full” enough. They didn’t include who I needed to become and who I would help.

The life of your dreams will include more of the “intangibles” and have the activity and possession dreams intertwined.

  • How you spend your time
  • Who you are with
  • Who you have become
  • What you can do for and give others

Now, here’s what a life of dreams description might look like:

  • I spend my time with those who uplift and encourage me
  • I have a loving family and I get to spend as much time as I want with them
  • I am a person that people love to be around
  • Because of the person I have become, I have attracted hundreds of people into my network marketing business.

The difference is that the LIFE of your dreams encompasses every-day living. It is what makes you get up in the morning and want to live. It is what makes you happy. Dreams, by themselves, are awesome achievements that we should most definitely still be doing whatever it takes to get, but the life of our dreams is something more fulfilling.

Try writing out a description of the LIFE of your dreams right now. This can of course include what your personal life looks like as well as your business.

Nate Booth suggests making sure that your description includes “a healthy dose of the person you will be and the gifts you will give” (28).

This is what it is really all about isn’t it?

When you see yourself accomplishing your dreams, do you not see a better person? Do you not see a someone who is generous and giving?

There really is no point to living if we are not personally improving and striving to become better and certainly there is no happiness if we are not focused on what gifts we can give to others.

Now, this question is one that, if used consistently, will make your dreams comes true:

Is this moving me toward the LIFE of my dreams?”

How powerful is that?

I know it is going to make a HUGE difference in how I approach and spend my time. How about you? Please vote and comment and let me know what your take is on this concept. =)

Go live the LIFE of your dreams!

A  a good friend of mine, Natasha Nassar, posed an interesting question yesterday: What Is Your Theme Song?

To my surprise, it didn’t take me long at all to decide which song was mine. It is on my “Favorites” playlist on my Zen and I listen to it quite often. =)

It’s called When The Sand Runs Out by Rascal Flatts.

(You can imagine me singing my lungs out while driving down the road with the volume one or two notches too loud =)…

___________________

When The Sand Runs Out

By Rascal Flatts

I spent the morning at an old friend’s grave
Flowers and Amazing Grace, he was a good man
He spent his whole life spinnin’ his wheels
Never knowin’ how the real thing feels
He never took a chance or took the time to dance
And I stood there thinking as I said goodbye
Today is the first day of the rest of my life

I’m gonna stop lookin’ back and start movin’ on
And learn how to face my fears
Love with all of my heart, make my mark
I wanna leave something here

Go out on a ledge, with out any net
That’s what I’m gonna be about
Yeah I wanna be runnin’
When the sand runs out

‘Cause people do it everyday
Promise themselves they’re gonna change
I’ve been there, but I’m changin’ from the inside out

That was then and this is now
I’m a new man, yeah, I’m a brand new man
And when they carve my stone they’ll write these words
“Here lies a man who lived life for all that its worth”

And as the cold wind blows across the graveyard
I think I hear the voice of my old friend whisper in my ear

I’m gonna stop lookin’ back and start movin’ on
Learn how to face my fears
Love with all of my heart, make my mark
I wanna leave something here

Go out on a ledge, with out any net
That’s what I’m gonna be about
Yeah I wanna be runnin’
When the sand runs out

__________________

I absolutely love this song! My favorite part is the chorus “I’m gonna stop looking back and start movin’ on/ Learn how to face my fears / Love with all of my heart, make my mark/ I wanna leave something here.”

Those few lines encompass EVERTHING that I am working toward.

Let me tell you what I mean.

If you know my story, you know that I went through a rather dark period of life. I have always been a perfectionist and that combined with some choices I made, landed me in a place where I seriously didn’t want to live.

It was through my mentors and parents that I finally climbed out of that dismal hole and found out that life and loving was worth it.

As I was trying to turn my life around, the perfectionist in me was saying, “What makes you think you can change? This is the way you’ve been for quite a while now. And, you might as well give up because now that you have been in this state, you are most definitely NOT perfect.”

Funny.

I had to struggle to learn how to “Stop lookin’ back and start movin’ on!”

In fact, I found out just this weekend how this experience and the words of this song combine to create a skill that I can share with the world. A friend of mine was really having a difficult time accepting herself for who she is right now and not being critical of every tinsy thing that she might not like about herself.

It was so enlightening for me to be able to share with her my experience of learning to “Stop lookin’ back and start movin’ on.” It is truly and wonderfully freeing to let go of the past and turn to look forward.

It was after I began to let go of the past when I really started to discover that life was more than me. It was so much bigger. It was about others. It was about what I could do to help others.

And that is what made me fall in love with this industry.

I mean, isn’t that what network marketing is all about? Loving with all our hearts?  Truly successful people love people with a deep and overwhelming love…

But, for me, this realization was coupled with a fear…

A fear of being hurt by putting my whole self out there. If I gave my whole soul, wouldn’t there be someone who would smash it?

Perhaps.

But that is a huge part of the equation. “Learn how to face my fears.”

And lastly is something that I truly believe each and every one of us want in our lives:

“Make my mark / I wanna leave something here .”

Isn’t that what every human being has ever wanted? We want to leave a legacy. We want to leave behind something bigger than ourselves. Something to be remembered by.

Ah…

I just adore that song.

So,

Stop lookin’ back and start movin’ on
Learn how to face your fears
Love with all of your heart, make your mark
You’re gonna leave something here

Let’s keep runnin’ till the sand runs out!

Social Media Marketing Vs Social Media Networking

What’s the deal? Is there any point to drilling down to the differences between social media marketing and social media networking?

Social Media Networking Social Media Marketing
There most definitely is and I’ll get to that in a minute.
First off, let’s get a clear definition of each:

Social media marketing:

To syndicate content (take your content from your blog/website and announcing it on social media networking sites).

Social media networking:

To work for the visibility of that content (working with people who want to do the same thing).
Pure social media networking will never lead to sales.  Just because people are socializing with you and are  your friends doesn’t mean they will buy from you! You must give them a reason to buy through social media marketing.

Social media marketing is in place to pick up the buyers when they are ready to buy…when they are typing in keywords. In social media networking, people are looking to network, not buy. But, everyone loves to buy!  And social media marketing is there ready for them….when they are ready.

You see, people look to buy are on search engines. You don’t need to do sales or try to pull people from social media networking into your sales funnel.  Prospects enter your funnel via social media marketing.

The cool thing is that you have better relationships with people who buy from you because they are more invested than just a regular or superficial social media networking relationship. They are linked to you in a deeper way because they have given you money, time, and energy – most likely because of your social media marketing efforts.

You earned this invested relationship because you had to earn their trust by showing them that they should be a business associate with you on some level – using a mix of social media networking and social media marketing.

So what is the take-away? You know the difference between social media marketing and social media networking, but now what?

3 Things:
1. Always keep in mind that when someone enters your sales funnel (via social media marketing or another method) they have placed trust in you. Out of all the tons of information they could be paying attention to, they have decided to look at yours. Never downplay that.
2. Treat your list/prospects like gold! Teach them more about what they came to you for in the first place!
3. Speak to their desires and questions.  You can find out what your prospects want to know about by using social media networking. Pay attention to what what content gets the most comments. Look for questions that people really want answers to…and then provide the answer.

Do you want to break onto the Internet Network Marketing scene but have no clue where to start or are simply lost in the maze of mountains of information?

I was completely lost in my quest to become a professional internet network marketer. I would get tied up in getting my website built and then wondered how to put together a marketing funnel and then panic when I thought of how I was going to drive traffic.

If you are in that same boat I have answers for you!

Internet network marketing really comes down to 4 steps:

1. The attraction marketing mind-shiftInternet Network Marketing Maze
2. Copywriting
3. Traffic skills – PPC, Social Media, SEO
4. Leadership skills and phone mastery

Now, I wouldn’t be a very upstanding person if I didn’t give the credit of the above 4 steps to Mr. Mike Dillard. I was listening to a video presentation he did and he described these 4 steps to internet network marketing success. As soon as he did, the light bulb went off inside of my head.

I had been trying for months to condense internet network marketing into something manageable and he did it.

Let’s talk about each of these in a little more detail:

Internet Network Marketing Mastery Step #1

1. The attraction marketing mind-shift.
This mind-shift is something that is 100% absolutely-positively critical to making it big as an internet network marketer. You must get over the scarcity mind-set that there are only a few fish in the sea and so you’d better contact the poor waitress at your after-the-event-party before the next prospect-thirsty guy does. Whew! Relax! Let prospects come to you. I know you’re thinking, “Right…uh huh.” Well, as soon as you master this mind-set and the next 3 steps, trust me, you’ll be having prospects trip over themselves just to apply to see if they qualify to join you in business!

Internet Network Marketing Mastery Step #2

2. Copywriting
Before learning about internet network marketing, I had no idea was copywriting was. When I heard some of the “gurus” talk about it, I thought they must be talking about copyrighting…like make it so people can’t steal your work. Nope! Copywriting is the art of salesmanship in print. Basically, if you can master this skill, you can literally write your own checks because by writing effective copy (or words) for something like a sales letter, people will be enthralled by your words and cannot help buy pull out their credit card and buy.

Internet Network Marketing Mastery Step #3

3. Traffic skills – PPC, Social Media, SEO
Obviously, in mastering traffic skills, there is a bunch of learning…but you might be surprised to find out that this step is really super easy and enjoyable. By traffic, internet network marketers simply mean getting people to see your website and take action by opting-in (putting their name and email in the box to getting on your mailing list). The traffic-generation learning curve will be especially pleasant if you lay out a traffic-generation plan and then stick to it. So, if I picked social media and SEO, I wouldn’t run out and buy a PPC course until I was getting significant traffic with those two mediums.

Internet Network Marketing Mastery Step #4

4. Leadership skills and phone mastery
Now, you can have the best website in the world, have the best copy, and have hoards of traffic coming to your blog, but without the right leadership and phone mastery skills, you won’t build a massive team. Why? Because people want to follow leaders. If you sound like a wimp on the phone, the person you are talking to will not take you seriously. It takes leadership skills to really create a huge business in network marketing—using the internet or not! I’ll give you a hind: Becoming a leader actually has quite a bit to do with the attraction marketing mind-shift. That’s because leaders know that if they “build it, they will come.”

I am ecstatic to have shared this simple steps with you. This is the internet network marketing map!

Post these 4 Internet Network Marketing Mastery Steps on your wall and always stay centered on these four activities. You will be blown away at how fast you can become an internet network marketing guru!

To the TOP!

July 20th, 1969 was the day that mankind set foot on the moon.
(At least according to some sources…others claim it was all a fake. I’ll let you decide what
you want to believe.)

Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with space.

And of course my favorite event to recall is when the “eagle landed.”

I’ve watched the film of Neil Armstrong stepping off of the lander over
and over again.Astronaut on the moon

I guess it is just a facination (And because it is a huge dream of mine to go to space!)

To me, it embodies everything: the dream, the struggle and the
victory.

The dream of going to the moon was held in the minds of many many
people before it was made a reality.

The struggle to get there was immense.

Why?

Because it was a big deal!

(Hint: if you are expecting to acheive what you want in life without major struggles…you
are kidding yourself…or just not dreaming big enough. =)

And the victory…well let’s just say that the world stood still for  a few moments to watch the culmination of all that encompasses the human spirit.

Hard work. Determination. Persistance.
Discovery. Learning. Failure.

Winning.

Ah…I just love it.

Dream big my friend!

Never laugh at anyone’s dream. Those who don’t have dreams don’t have much.

Seriously take some time all by yourself and figure out what it is that you really want in your life.

Trust me, this is eye-opening and a centering experience.

Dream friend. Dream.

Have you heard of this acronym before?

“What You See Is What You Get”

I’ve heard this many times in reference to website builders that have user-friendly interfaces. Basically, they allow you to build a website by dragging and dropping elements and using a Word-like editor.

In other words, these types of website editors take away the ”hardness” of creating a website.

They take away the html, css, php and all the other crazy coding languages that I frankly have no clue about.

These awesome websites make life so much easier for those of us who haven’t spent years studying the coding languages.

It is so nice because you literally get what you see.

Isn’t it the same way in life?

I mean, think about it.

What You SEE Is What You GET.

Yup.

Thoughts my friends.

Visualization.

Power.

Awesome.

(I’m having fun typing random words on separate lines… =)

It really is true.

If you cannot see yourself getting whatever it is that you want…

I have news for you….

You won’t get it.

Sorry. =(

But! Happy news!

You’ve just got to change your THOUGHTS!

Think about what you want.
Think A LOT  about it.
Think about every detail of it.

Write down what you want.

Read it to yourself morning and night.

Literally visualize and FEEL what it will be like to have or be what it is that you truly desire.

And then my friend, it will manifest in your life.

Perhaps in a different way than you expected.

But it will come.

That was a good reminder for me too. =)
Hey! Just think of it like dragging and dropping elements into your life.
Choose what you want, customize it, and insert it in just the right spot. =)

Happy thinking!
Stacia

P.S. Take action and fill out the form to the right with your name and email.
You’ll be glad you did becuase it will be another link in the chain of you getting what you want.

Have you ever felt like your habits or your pattern of thinking is impossible to change? Do you want to change your life—and you are trying—but you don’t feel like the life you want is emerging?

I believe these feelings come about because of how deeply embedded our habits are inside of us.  Learning new habits can be difficult.  And it is learning new things that will propel change for the better.

If someone has done something for years (like playing a sport or an instrument) and established habits, it is going to be difficult for them to change those habits. It is easier for a teacher to teach a child—to start from scratch. It is easier to start from nothing than to break old habits.

Take me for example. In college, I basically re-learned how to play the viola. I even thought to myself that it would be easier for my professor to start with a student that was just beginning to learn the instrument instead of breaking me of my old, engrained habits and helping me establish new ones.

It took my whole college career to finally grasp and implement most of my professor’s teaching.

But just because changing habits is difficult, that is no reason to lose hope. Habits can be changed! But, changing them does require determination and persistence.

New ideas must be applied daily. It has to be a continuous effort.

Have you ever read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill? If so, you are familiar with his Persistence Formula. Each step is critical in reaching success, but I am especially drawn to the second point today: A definite plan expressed in continuous action.

In order to change our habits that keep us from reaching for new heights, we must develop a definite plan and then continuously strive for it.

Most people will read or hear of great “life-changing” ideas. But, they are quickly forgotten and they live life as normal.

What I am suggesting is that when you find a new “nugget”—something that says to you “that would be powerful if you really did it”—actually apply it!! Stop at that moment in time, write it down and make a definite plan for implementing it into your life!

Persistent, Aggressive and Continuous action is what is going to attract success to you friend!

 Happy action-taking!

Stacia

P.S. Speaking of action taking…take 20 seconds and put your name and email in the box to the right.  Action-takers are leaders.

How Does A True Entrepreneur Think?

I just finished reading an interview that Mike Litman did with Michael Gerber, author of The E-Myth.  I learned a ton and so I decided to write this to share what I discovered. I went back through the interview and wrote down 14 points that really stuck out to me.

Okay, so here are the key points that I learned:

1. The real purpose for creating a business is to sell it.

2. Most people who start businesses are not entrepreneurs and so they go to work in their business and create a job for themselves.

3. The very first question you should ask when starting a business is “What is my primary aim? What’s my vision for the life that I want to live in order to get what I really wish to get while I’m here? What do I want my business to accomplish for my life?”

4. The business is the product!

5. A system needs to be created through which your company can absolutely differentiate itself from every other company in the world because it’s able to do what it does impeccably, infallibly, every single time.

6. Your business has got to become a brand.

7. Great entrepreneurs tell great stories.

8. The system is the solution—not the people. You can create an intelligent system to do anything.

9. Create your franchise prototype. Imagine replicating it 5,000 times.

10.  Ask yourself, “What’s the one thing I could do that’s impossible to do, but if I could do it, would immediately transform my business and in the process of transforming my business, transform my life?”

11. Once you discover something that works, everybody in your company has got to do it that way.

12. It’s not about passion, it’s about thinking.

13. Imagine that you get to talk at your own funeral. What story would you tell? Then live it.

14. A successful business works without the owner.  A real entrepreneur is not busy, busy, busy with his business.

Wow! The point that hit me the hardest was that life is your business—business isn’t your life.  So figure out what it is you want your life to be like and then figure out a business plan to bring it about! Don’t try to fit your life in your business plan. It works the other way around! Design your life!

It really is our thoughts that shape everything in life.  THINK about what you want in your life and then design a “business” plan to make it happen!

Until next time,
Stacia Hopkins
